Butterfly Tattoo

Butterflies are considered one of the most colorful and elegant insects that we see around. Unlike others of the same species, we do not feel creepy just by looking at it. Although there are other bugs, such as the Lady Bug, that also look quite attractive, but butterflies are perceived to be the best among them.

Tattoo lovers are also into butterfly tattoos because of the various colors it has. The ensemble of different colors creates an outlook that is eye-catching and pleasing to the sight. This is especially true if the tattoo is properly marked and all the details are carved with precision. It is not only the physical appearance that is quite alluring about the butterfly designs. The meaning it also shares adds up to its appeal. Butterflies sometimes mean joy and carefree-ness. The way we see it flutter from flower to flower seemed that it is free from care and somehow that is also grasped in the design. It also represents souls of the departed. To some countries seeing a big brown butterfly means that a deceased loved one is around for a visit. The most significant meaning it projects is the sense of transformation. Like the butterfly, it was able to transform from an ugly caterpillar. Imagine the sight of a worm locked in a cocoon for sometime and finally emerges as a beautiful winged creature.
